Our
father Brython Davies owned and showed Welsh mountain ponies since 1981,
but didn’t register the Bryngwenlli prefix until 1988. The foundation
mare of the Bryngwenlli Welsh mountain pony stud was 75449 Derwen Emily
which was bought as a filly foal from Ifor Lloyd of the Derwen Stud. |

She was shown extensively and gained many championships
for us and was also a productive breeder of fillies. She produced 10
fillies and two colts. Most of her foals were shown and won several
first prizes and championships. These were the most prolific: We have kept this line going through Bryngwenlli Elen and Bryngwenlli Emily. |

| She was supreme champion as a 2 year old, and also that year she was eighth at the Royal Welsh. Unfortunately she died in 2004 but has left us a lovely colt Bryngwenlli Efydd 67586. | |
